Climbing
What is rock climbing?
Climbing uses your body to get up, down or across rock faces, cliffs, boulders, and structures whilst clipped into a safety rope. Children and adults both love climbing, it's human nature to problem solve, take risks and experience a sense of danger getting from Point A to Point B without tumbling down! Climbing presents many physical and mental challenges building a strong mind-body connection. It's a great way to build self-awareness, confidence, spend time outside and make new friends.
How does it work?
Your outdoor climbing session is on a real rock face and no previous experience is required. Every session is different and can depend on the weather, group abilities and previous experience. Once you've put on your safety equipment you'll learn how to tie into the rope and safely look after your climbing partners through belaying - the sacred bond of climbing, belaying is a technique where a climber is secured by a rope which is controlled by another person known as the belayer.
Your highly qualified instructors are amongst the best in the industry and will give you the confidence and support to step outside your comfort zone and take it in turns to belay and climb. Our instructors aim to ensure everyone participates in up to six epic rock climbs! The sense of achievement, exhilaration and confidence you'll gain from this unforgettable experience cannot be beaten and definitely one to share with your family and friends.
