A Year of Adventure Gift Voucher
What is this voucher for?
This voucher is designed to be a gift for an individual, siblings or a couple. Your voucher has twelve uses and these can all be used by one person or any combination of people. For example, a couple could do six activities together or three siblings could do four activities together.
This voucher can be used towards any of the following activities: Abseiling, Air Rifle, Archery, Assault Course, Axe Throwing, Bushcraft, Canoeing, Caving, Climbing, Frisbee Golf, Kayaking, Orienteering, Raft Building, Stand up Paddle Boarding, Try Skiing, Try Snowboarding, Tobogganing. These are all available for individuals aged 8+.
What can't this voucher be redeemed towards?
This voucher can't be used towards Tobogganing, Frisbee Golf, Orienteering or advanced snowsport lessons. To Try Snowboarding, participants must be at least 1.2m tall and wear at least a size 2 shoe.
How do I use the voucher?
You will receive a Voucher Code and a Security Code which can be used online to book a date and time that suits you. Your voucher has 12 uses, you can either book all in one go or just as and when you choose. Vouchers are valid for 18 months.
How do the activity sessions work?
Once you have booked your chosen activity, you will receive a confirmation email with details of where to meet and what to wear for the activity session. All of these activities are instructor led and your experienced instructor will tailor the session to the group, coaching you through the basics of whichever activity you decide to try!
Where do these sessions take place?
Mendip Activity Centre's main site is in Churchill, North Somerset. We also have a number of other activity sites nearby. Your activity location will be specified when you book.

FAQ's
Outdoor Activities can be booked as Individual Spaces or as Exclusive Groups, with some age limits.
SNOWSPORTS
-Tobogganing: Ages 4-12. If booked as an exclusive Half Slope Group Session, ages 4+ with no upper age limit.
-Skiing Lessons: Ages 8+
-Snowboarding Lessons: Ages 8+ height minimum 1.2m Shoe Size min adult size 2
-Minis Private Ski Lessons: Ages 5-8.
-Recreational Skiing/Snowboarding: Ages 5+ and must be recreational standard.
TARGT SPORTS
-Archery, Axe Throwing, Air Rifle: Age 8+. If booked as an exclusive group session ages 6+. At least one adult must be participating.
-ArcheryActive, Nerf Battles: Age 6+. If under 8s are taking part, at least one adult must be participating.
-Frisbee Golf: Any age. Under 6s play free. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
LAND ACTIVITIES
-Orienteering: Any age. Under 6s free. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
-Bushcraft & Survival Skills: Age 8+. If booked as an exclusive group session ages 6+. If under 8s are taking part, at least one adult must be participating.
ROCK SPORTS
-Rock Climbing, Climbing Tower, Caving, Try Caving, Abseiling (20m/65ft): Age 8+. If booked as an exclusive group session ages 6+. If under 8s are taking part, at least one adult must be participating.
-Abseiling (50m/150ft): Ages 10+
WATER SPORTS
-Assault Course, Kayaking, Paddle Boarding, Raft Building Canoeing: Age 8+. If booked as an exclusive group session ages 6+. If under 8s are taking part, at least one adult must be participating.
Gift Vouchers are valid for 18 months.
Annual Passes are valid for 13 months (meaning they make a great Christmas gift!)

Vouchers can be used to make bookings online at www.mendip.me/book
Add your chosen activity to your basket for a time and date that suits you and proceed to checkout.
Your voucher will have unique "Voucher" and "Security codes which are both required to redeem the voucher. Enter both of these codes in the corresponding boxes when prompted during the check out process. By clicking "apply voucher" the value of your activity session should fully discount from your basket.

Yes, in addition to a free instant personalised digital copy of your voucher, we offer an optional printed & posted service at £3.50 per voucher.
Vouchers will be posted the week commencing the 4th December, allowing for plenty of time for them to arrive before Christmas. Please note, vouchers can only be sent to one address per order. If you require vouchers posted to different addresses, please place a new order for each address.
Adventure vouchers are available to purchase year-round. There are a limited number of available at the sale price.
You are welcome to buy as many of each voucher as you like.
Activity-specific vouchers are available for the specified activity.
Discounted Value Vouchers will not work on the following session types:

All gift vouchers can be used for the value at which they were purchased for, against activities they are not specifically for, including those in the above exclusion list. For example, a £25 value voucher purchased for £15, will discount £15 off the price of a Private Ski lesson.
