Early Bird offer available of £525 for the first 20 bookings!

The Best Sleepover All Summer- for children aged 8 to 15.

Give your child the chance to experience an unforgettable 5 days and 5 nights of activities and the great outdoors at Mendip Activity Centre’s Kids Adventure Camps! Book now for an exciting mix of adventure, exploration and fun.

How does it work?
Children arrive on Sunday afternoon between 4pm and 5pm. Throughout the week, they will try outdoor activities, play team games, go on Night Hikes, and take opportunities to unwind and enjoy nature with friends. Activities include Rock Climbing, Paddling, Target Sports, Bushcraft, Disc Golf and ArcheryActive.

After a full week of excitement and adventure, the children are picked up early Friday afternoon between 1pm and 2pm with a bag full of dirty laundry (sorry parents!) and a head full of brilliant memories.

Where does my child stay?
Your child will experience delicious catering whilst staying in the amazing indoor country Lodge accommodation at Mendip Activity Centre in Somerset. Our Lodge bunkrooms each sleep between 4 and 9 people. Rooms will be single-gender. Each bedroom has a private en-suite shower and toilet.

If you have any specific questions or requests, please do not hesitate to contact

    our team before booking.

Our team are experienced at delivering pastoral support and will keep a close eye on all children. Be rest assured, if we have any concerns we will contact you. We recommend discussing homesickness with your child before their stay if you are concerned about it.

It’s important that no one feels left out during their Kids Adventure Camp experience. Our team will be keeping an eye on all children’s behaviour and experience. We take any instance of bullying, teasing or anti-social behaviour extremely seriously.

At the start of each Summer Camp, we will discuss and agree with all children a “Code of Conduct”. If serious or persistent behaviour issues break this contract, our team will contact the child’s parent or guardian. On rare occasions, parents or guardians may need to collect their child. Therefore, a parent/guardian must be contactable and available throughout the stay.

Yes! It’s very common for children to attend a Kids Adventure Camp by themselves.
