What is Solstice Paddleboarding?
Solstice Paddleboarding is a special early morning SUP session celebrating the longest day of the year. On Saturday 21 June 2026 from 4am to 6am, we will paddle out onto Bristol Harbour to watch the sun rise over the city. It is a calm, peaceful and unforgettable way to start your day, with the option of a little SUP yoga for anyone who fancies it.Who can take part in Solstice Paddleboarding?
This session is suitable for paddlers aged 14+ who have previous Paddleboarding experience. You must be confident paddling in the expected conditions on the day.The session can be booked in the following ways:
- Individual spaces (Age 14+)
- Bring your own board or borrow one from us
How does Solstice Paddleboarding work?
You will meet on Bristol Harbour ready for a prompt 4am start. After a short welcome and safety briefing, we will head out onto the water together as the city wakes up around us. Our instructors will be on the water at all times, offering support and guidance throughout the session.We plan to stay on the water rather than in it, with a relaxed pace and time to pause, take in the views and enjoy the stillness of the early morning.
Where does Solstice Paddleboarding take place?
This session takes place on Bristol's historic Floating Harbour. Changing facilities, toilets and hot showers are available onsite.Important Information!
- Please dress for the weather. Warm non-cotton layers and jackets are recommended.
- Paddleboarding is an all-weather outdoor activity - please check the forecast and dress accordingly.
- You must have paddled with us before and feel confident in the conditions. If you are unsure, please get in touch before booking.
- This session is for ages 14+.
