Climbing Tower
What is a climbing tower?
Our climbing tower is a free standing, mobile structure with a highly realistic climbing surface that simulates the curvature and complexity of natural rock. The climbing holds and belay systems offer multiple routes and varying degrees of difficulty to suit all abilities so everyone can have a go!
How does it work?
Your instructors will give you a full briefing before kitting you out with safety equipment ready for your climbing. Our highly qualified instructors are the best in the industry and will give you the confidence and support to step outside your comfort zone and take it in turns to climb. The sense of achievement, exhilaration, and confidence you'll gain from this unforgettable climbing experience cannot be beaten and definitely one to share with your family and friends.
Where does it take place?
Climbing Tower sessions normally take place at our campsite - Basecamp. When you arrive at the Mendip Activity Centre follow the signs to Basecamp. Meet at the Pavilion (large white marquee) 15-minutes before the session. Basecamp is situated at Mendip Activity Centre, our beautiful 250-acre woodland estate set in one of Southwest England's most special places - The Mendip Hills National Landscape. We are close to Bristol and Weston Super Mare, the M5 motorway and with local rail and bus connections nearby.
