Frisbee Golf, sometimes known as Disc Golf, is a great way to enjoy the outdoors, get more active and have fun trying something new with family and friends. Book online and save £2 per person!

    What is Frisbee Golf?
Our 18-hole Frisbee Golf Course is set in one of Southwest England's most special places - The Mendip Hills National Landscape. The self-led 2km course navigates rolling hilltop and woodland tracks with many beautiful and picturesque views.

    How does it work?
The game rules are similar to golf with players throwing the Frisbee at each target in the lowest number of total throws. Its suitable for anyone over six years with younger children welcome to share your disc and play for free.

    FREE Yeti Hunt
Included in every round is our Yeti Hunt, perfect for children who search for friendly Yetis hidden around the course. Once they have found the codeword they receive a special chocolate treat!

    How do you book?
Simply choose a start time and play for as long as you like. Depending on your group size and ability we suggest allowing approximately 90 mins to complete the course.

    Important Information
  • Please note, There is a £5 deposit per frisbee. This is refunded when you return your frisbees to reception after your game.
  • In places the course may be muddy and can track steep and rugged ground so suitable walking boots or wellies are recommended.

  • Sometimes there may be sheep in the fields so hand sanitiser is recommended and whilst friendly dogs are welcome to join you, they must be kept on a lead and always cleaned up after.

    FAQ's

Yes, we strongly recommend booking your Frisbee Golf session in advance. This enables us to monitor the number of people playing at any one time so the course doesn't become too full.

You do not have to arrive at your exact time, just within the hour of your booking. Should multiple groups arrive at the same time we will stagger the set off times.

If you have an Annual Membership, there is no need to book in advance. Come along on the day you want to play and our team will get you checked in and onto the course. Ensure you bring your Voucher or Membership Pass with you.

It's pretty easy and a lot like regular golf!

    1. Go to the first 'Teeing' off post
    2. Take it in turns to throw your Frisbee towards the basket
    3. The player whose Frisbee landed farthest from the hole throws next
    4. Once everyone's Frisbee is in the basket, write down your scores
    5. Find your next 'Tee Post' to play the next hole
    6. After the last hole add up your scores - the winner is the player with the lowest score!

Our team will also run through how to play before you set off.

Ticks are present in the Mendip Hills and may be found in long grass, woodland, open country, public parks and gardens. Help prevent tick bites by sticking to paths, avoiding brushing against the vegetation, wearing light clothing so ticks are easier to spot and brush off, and using insect repellent.

Check your clothes and your body regularly for ticks when you're outdoors and when you get home.  Ticks can transmit bacteria that can cause diseases such as Lyme disease. Symptoms of Lyme disease can include flu-like symptoms and a distinctive circular rash.

    Tobogganing

Tobogganing is a very popular activity and, especially during peak times, we have very little flexibility in being able to push your start time back. Where possible, we will get you onto the toboggan slope as soon as possible once you arrive. We will try to be as accommodating as possible and if there is availability later in the day, we will move your session to a later start time however please be aware that this is not always possible.

    Frisbee golf or recreational snowsports

We are likely to be able to change your start time at arrival as long as it is within our opening hours and on the same day.

    Private session
We will start whenever you arrive but we are unlikely to be able to overrun.

    Individual spaces on a session

We will do our best to fit you into the session at a point that does not disrupt it too much for other participants. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we're sorry but it is very unlikely we will be able to fit you into the session due to missing the safety and equipment briefing and kit up.
