Ski With An Instructor (Part Funded Sessions)
How does it work?
This session is a recreational ski session alongside one of our qualified instructors. This session is exclusively for participants who are neurodivergent. It is a partially-funded by Snowsport England and Friends of Stoke Park.
Our experienced, qualified instructors will meet you in our equipment room and get you kitted out with skis, boots and a helmet. Equipment is always included in our prices - you'll just need to bring a pair of gloves and wear full length sleeves and trousers.
These sessions are a little more informal than our course of the lessons. Your instructor will ski with you and be on hand to provide advice, pointers, demos and tips. They will answer any questions to help improve your technique so you can get the most out of your time on the slopes.
Is it right for me?
You must be aged 8+ and at a recreational standard and able to stop on demand, steer and avoid other objects and users and use a button drag lift. Due to the funding conditions, all participants must also be neurodivergent. Please contact us if you have any more questions.
How much does it cost?
This session is heavily subsidised thanks to funding from Snowsport England and Friends of Stoke Park and therefore only costs £5.
Progression
If you are looking for other opportunities to improve your skiing, you can book a Private Lesson, have a go at Mendip Ski Club, our weekly informal and fun ski club for adults and juniors, or book a Slope Pass.
