What is our Ski With An Instructor Part Funded session?
Ski With An Instructor - Improver is a two hour recreational ski session suitable for all ages. This session is exclusively for participants who are neurodivergent. It is a partially-funded by Snowsport England and Friends of Stoke Park. It is ideal if you have recently completed our Learn to Ski Course, want to boost confidence or would like to continue developing your technique in a relaxed, supportive environment.Who is this Part Funded session suitable for?
You must be skiing at a recreational standard. This means you can stop on demand, steer, avoid other slope users and use a button drag lift confidently. Due to the funding conditions, all participants must also be neurodivergent. Please contact us if you have any more questions.How does the session work?
This is a recreational ski session alongside one of our qualified instructors. You will meet in our equipment room where you will be fitted with skis, boots and a helmet. All equipment is included in the session price. Please bring gloves and wear full-length sleeves and trousers.These sessions are more informal than structured courses. Your instructor will ski with you, offering advice, demonstrations and practical tips throughout the session. There is plenty of opportunity to ask questions and focus on the skills that matter most to you.
