Tobogganing

Blast down our floodlit toboggan slope on our colourful Zibob toboggans!

    What is tobogganing?
When penguins slide over snow and ice on their bellies, it's called Tobogganing. When children blast down our floodlit Toboggan slope on our colourful Zibob toboggans, listen out for excited laughter and watch their joy as they slip-slide excitedly down the hill.

    How does it work?
The open-air Toboggan slope is one of our most popular and exhilarating physical activities, perfect for burning off lots of energy. Great for Birthday Parties and organised groups, it operates 7 days a week in all-weather with a covered spectator area at the top of the slope. The light sprinkler system creates even more fun helping children slip-slide faster, even if they may get a little damp!

    Who can take part?
Individual Spaces: 30 minute slots available to buy for as few or as many children as you like. There are 16 spaces per slot and everyone must be aged 4 to 12. Adults cannot take part in these sessions
Exclusive Half Slope: 30 minute slots for exclusive use of half the slope for up to 8 tobogganers. Suitable for ages 4+ with no upper age limit. This is the only option suitable for tobogganers over the age of 12.
Exclusive Full Slope: Whole hour exclusive use of the entire slope for up to 24 tobogganers. Everyone must be aged 4 to 12.

Note: Once an Individual space has sold, the slope is no longer be available for any Exclusive Half Slope/Exclusive Full Slope bookings. If an Exclusive Half Slope session has been booked, the Exclusive Full Slope slot for that time slot will be unavailable.

    Important Information
  • All Tobogganers will attend a Safety Brief prior to using the slope.
  • Tobogganers must wear full-length sleeves & trousers, covered footwear and full fingered gloves.
  • This is not an instructor supervised activity. Participants must be supervised by a parent/guardian aged 18+ to ensure rules are followed.
  • We always recommend dressing for the forecast weather. Consider bringing waterproofs or a change of clothes if it's particularly wet on the day of your tobogganing session.

    Tobogganing

Tobogganing is a very popular activity and, especially during peak times, we have very little flexibility in being able to push your start time back. Where possible, we will get you onto the toboggan slope as soon as possible once you arrive. We will try to be as accommodating as possible and if there is availability later in the day, we will move your session to a later start time however please be aware that this is not always possible.

    Frisbee golf or recreational snowsports

We are likely to be able to change your start time at arrival as long as it is within our opening hours and on the same day.

    Private session
We will start whenever you arrive but we are unlikely to be able to overrun.

    Individual spaces on a session

We will do our best to fit you into the session at a point that does not disrupt it too much for other participants. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we're sorry but it is very unlikely we will be able to fit you into the session due to missing the safety and equipment briefing and kit up.
